PREAMBLE
In a rich country like ours, the sick should not die at home and worse the dead held in morgues for lack of payments, children should not stay at home, enlarge the list of illiterates for lack of fees school. Unfortunately this is what happens too often.
Faced with such cases of general recklessness and unconsciousness, only two options are possible: Either we sit back and find things normal, or fight for change. We have chosen the second because we believe that our fellow citizens deserve better. In the democratic context, the only legitimate battle is that of the ballot box which consists in giving the people the power to choose the leaders who will determine the future of the country for future generations. Like all other peoples, the Congolese aspire neither more nor less than to Peace, Justice, Security and Development.
Assignment
The mission of the Congress for National Unity and Sovereignty is to maintain the Unity, Integrity and Sovereignty of the country in order to achieve its full development.

The main objectives of CUSN are to work for:

We offer a different way of managing public affairs with the firm belief that no one should be left behind. The government of CUSN will be a government of the people, by the people and for the people. That is to say, a government at the service of the people. The future government led by CUSN is committed to restoring the lost dignity of the Congolese people through concrete actions that will improve their daily lives and their well-being.
We are committed to ensuring the security of all Congolese and their property throughout the national territory, because without security there is no peace and without peace there is no development!
The DRC cannot achieve its full development without a healthy people and
educated. With that, a CUSN-led government 'pledged to introduce universal health care and free primary and secondary education before the end of its first term in power.
